Writers Salon: Ginnah Howard, plus an open mic

CANO's Writers Salon presents theatrical riffs, rants, scenes and soliloquies written by Karen Butler. Actors Rachel Rissberger and Bhala Jones join her in stringing together rollicking scenes dealing with the joys and frustrations of writing and acting: Staging Pages/Paging Stages. Ginnah Howard’s work has appeared in Water~Stone Review, Permafrost, Portland Review, Descant 145, Eleven Eleven Journal, The Tusculum Review, and elsewhere. Several stories have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Writers Salon takes place the 3rd Thursday each month. Readings begin promptly at 7:30 pm (please arrive by 7:15). Beginning with open mic, guests are encouraged to read personal works in this casual & welcoming environment (open mic is limited to 5 minutes per reader). Afterwards, enjoy a reading and presentation by a featured published author. Free & Open to the public. Donations greatly appreciated. Refreshments Served.
