Huntington Hundred Centennial Celebration

  • Huntington Memorial Library 62 Chestnut Street Oneonta, NY, 13820 United States (map)

Huntington Memorial Library is excited to announce our centennial celebration of Henry Huntington’s bequest of the park and library. Good, old-fashioned family fun will be offered in the afternoon from 3:30 to 5:00pm. Enjoy free face painting & balloons with BJ the Clown, classic games and light refreshments. In the evening, from 6:00 to 7:30pm we invite adults to a reception to hear about the history of the library, current library initiatives and to be the first to get a peek at the new conceptual Huntington Park design developed by Templeton Landscape Architects.

This November 3rd event is part of our multi-year celebration marking the transition from the Huntington Homestead, to what is today, the largest public library in Otsego County and a center point of the Oneonta community. Community is the heart of any library and we hope to see you there!
