The Artisans' Guild

The Artisans’ Guild is a not-for-profit cooperative shop featuring the work of local and regional artists and craftspeople. It is staffed and run by the artists themselves, and 88% of all sales go directly to the artists. The Guild was founded in 1999 by a potter and a jewelry maker with the purpose of serving the artists and the community. The aim of The Guild is to provide high-quality gifts and everyday items at affordable prices, while adding a little beauty to the lives of all who shop there, and helping the local economy.

Artware was established in 1980. Opening in a double garage 6 miles outside of Oneonta NY on RT 23E. After a year Artware moved to 16 Dietz ST, Oneonta where it remained until moving to the Main St location in the mid 1980’s. The business was started as a one women operation. Five experienced, art and framing people are now guiding customers to the products and solutions suitable to create the optimum artwork and framing. We enjoy working together with artists, teachers, students, parents and everyone interested in the arts!

Catskill Symphony Orchestra

Since 1953 the Catskill Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has provided an unparalled resource to entertain,educate, and inspire audiences of all ages in upstate New York - by presenting an ensemble of the highest artistic quality performing the full range of symphonic literature. Community Arts Network of Oneonta

CANO hosts monthly Art Exhibitions, Writers Salons, & Music at the Mansion. We also host annual events such as the Chili Bowl Contest and Fundraiser, & the City of the Hills Arts & Music Festival. CANO is a non-profit arts organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers with a passion for art. We exist thanks to memberships, donations, sponsors, grants and community support. Decker School of Ballet & Fokine Ballet Company

Founded in 1972, the Decker School of Ballet concentrates on classical ballet the basis for many forms of dance. We offer professional training to all students. Children and adults who study ballet will develop concentration and stretch their physical capabilities through the discipline of the art form. Through our non-profit company, The Fokine Ballet Company presents "The Nutcracker" each year. The production gives area children the opportunity to dance with professionals and enhances the cultural climate of the community. Through assembly programs it gives local school children a better understanding of ballet. It is a beloved holiday tradition.

Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center

Nestled in the Catskill mountains, in the highly accessible university city of Oneonta, Foothills Performing Arts Center is a not-for-profit entertainment and civic center that serves the cultural, educational, and community needs of the Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango region.

Since 2006, The OTC has been a place your area young people seeking an alternative to sports oriented activities. Our chill, unique atmosphere that is open M-F 3-6pm, with extended evening hours from 7-10:30 on Fridays and Saturdays . THE CHURCH presented by Upstate Production Services Inc.

Founded in 2008, Upstate Production Service Inc. supports the movement to decentralize New York State's cultural landscape. We provide artist residency, rehearsal and performance space at the 200-yearold decommissioned Baptist Church that we have been renovating since 2014. We produce a multi event summer season in the disciplines of music, theater, dance, comedy and further performing arts disciplines. When we don't host artists, the space is available to rent for film and photo shoots, workshops or meetings.
